Rosie’s House Signage

Another fun job that I was thrilled to work on with Rosie’s House! I designed the signage and wayfinding for their then new facility in downtown Phoenix. Everything from room numbers and directories to the donor wall and monument sign. Their space grew to twice the footprint this year so I was asked to expand their sign program which completed installation in March 2026.

The large sign system had a unique criteria in that it is a facility used by children aged preschool to 12, so accessibility and safety were key. The design needed to be inviting for all of the students yet, sensible, useful for visitors and on-brand. All materials needed to be affordable and easy to replace, every corner needed to be eased and every sign installed needed to minimize the possibility of graffiti with safety being paramount.

A multi-tiered donor system was designed that worked with a 15′ donor recoginition wall and sponsored rooms with sub tiers. Exterior and Interior signs were designed using federal and state accessibility guidelines with a special City of Phoenix variance required for the monument and canopy sign permits.
